Yew Huoi, How & Associates uses limited first-party technologies to keep this website secure, remember your privacy choice and understand how the website is used. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or behavioural advertising.
Anonymous baseline analytics
The website records privacy-conscious, cookie-free statistics such as the page visited, referring domain, website language, general device and browser type, traffic time and selected actions. A daily rotating one-way identifier supports approximate daily visitor counts and cannot be used to recognise a visitor across different days.
Optional analytics cookies
If you select “Accept analytics”, we set a random first-party visitor identifier for up to 90 days, a session identifier that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and a first-touch attribution record for up to 30 days. Attribution is limited to source, medium, campaign name and the first landing-page path. These enable session counts, returning-visitor estimates, reading engagement, scroll milestones and an understanding of which sources contribute to enquiries. The identifiers and attribution record do not contain your name, email address, telephone number or enquiry information.
What we never record in analytics
- the contents of an enquiry or newsletter form;
- exact calculator values or calculated results;
- full referring URLs or URL query strings;
- raw IP addresses; or
- advertising profiles or cross-site activity.
Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies may be used for administration authentication, security, rate limiting and to remember your cookie choice. These are required for the relevant service or security function and cannot be disabled through the website settings.
Your choice
You may accept or reject optional analytics when the notice appears. You can change your decision at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the website footer. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from reading the website or using its public tools.
Retention
Detailed analytics events are retained for up to 90 days. Contact-form security records containing a masked network range and technical outcome are retained separately for up to 30 days. Enquiry contents are not copied into analytics.
