Management and Construction
We have in October 2018 succeeded in obtaining judgment against Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur on matter relating to Strata Management Act 2013. We too had in March 2018 in the Kuala Lumpur High Court won a landmark decision requiring a Developer (a public listed company which have failed to effect transfer of condominium parcels to purchasers) to pay contribution of management funds to the Management Corporation.
Sales and Purchase of Property
We have recently succeeded in obtaining an order for specific performance of a sale and purchase agreement of an immovable property as the vendor refused to sign the formal agreement (the terms of which were negotiated and agreed by the parties) and complete the transaction. We have also succeeded in our Originating Summons seeking extension of time to prevent a removal of caveat under Section 326 of the National Land Code lodged by the vendor to the Registrar of the Land Office.
More recently, the firm has successfully resolved a dispute concerning the sale and purchase of a prime land in Kuala Selangor in favour of the client after several days of trial. The firm has also reached a very satisfactory settlement favouring our client in relation to overlapping civil and criminal investigations against our client involving the allegations of fraudulent misrepresentation, duress and coercion of a land transfer by the parties involved in the said transaction.
Our firm has performed approximately 320 conveyancing transactions successfully from January – August 2019. This includes sale and purchase of immovable properties, perfection of transfer etc.
